Rachel Cheeney is Broker/Owner of Pro Resource Realty, located in Waterloo, IA. She's a Cedar Falls 'native', (since 1971), and holds degrees from Wartburg College (Waverly) and Hawkeye Community College (Waterloo).
Rachel currently serves the Waterloo-Cedar Falls Board of Realtors as Program & Education committee chair. She previously chaired the Technology "Task Force" committee and has been a MLS and Indoctrination committee member.
Rachel Cheeney earned her Iowa Real Estate broker license in July 2006. She has achieved REALTOR½ designations of CRS, GRI, ABR, and e-PRO; and is an Accredited Home Staging professional (ASP). Rachel Cheeney was named "Rookie of the Year" for her 2004 real estate sales accomplishments, when at Oakridge Realtors, Cedar Falls.
Rachel's "pre" real estate business career spans across two decades...including sixteen years as Vice President, Director of Sales & Marketing for Richway Industries, Ltd., an agricultural spraying equipment and industrial equipment manufacturer.
Additionally, Rachel has contributed to a variety of professional development and community organizations, as past president of the Cedar Valley Manufacturers Association, chair of Iowa State University CIRAS advisory council, and member of the Department of Commerce Iowa District Export Council, in addition to her contributions as a PTA member and president, and former Girl Scouts Leader.
Rachel and her family enjoy their 1900 era home at their Cedar Falls acreage. Don Cheeney, her husband of 23 years, is employed by John Deere Engine Works. Together they have two daughters: Chelsea ... a private-duty LPN with Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare, and Madeline... a CFHS student and senior company dancer at Kinetic Energy, also in Cedar Falls, IA. |
