What to Expect

  1. Fill out the application by clicking the button below. You will be able to upload a resume and you will need to submit three (3) professional references with contact information.
  2. Education director will schedule a phone interview to review your application, discuss expectations and so on.
  3. If both parties decide to proceed, the potential instructor will submit a 5-minute presentation via in-person audition or live stream depending on circumstance.
  4. Training alongside our current instructors will provide guidance and support as you transition into this role.

Online Instructor Application

Time Commitment

Time commitment is dependent on classes being taught. We have current courses ranging from 1 hour to 60 hours, with a majority falling in the 3-4 hour range.  Core courses are taught more regularly throughout the year. Electives are scheduled heavier in the fall during the renewal period. Travel is expected throughout the year and training is on-going. Instructors will have a yearly instructor summit held in January to discuss best practices and exchange ideas.

You will be able to decide when and where you teach. For instance, if you only want to teach on the West side of the state and only courses in the fall, that can potentially be worked out. Let us know your preferences on your application.

Other Ideas

We are open to arrangements not listed here. For example, if you are interested in course development but do not want to instruct, or you want to develop online courses, let's talk!
