The Iowa Association of REALTORS Leadership Institute consists of 6 days of high-quality sessions designed to nurture future industry, community and real estate leaders.
The Leadership Institute is focused on improving communication skills, business relationships, association knowledge, industry trends, meeting management, collaboration and diversity. This course is excellent for local association leaders as well as those that have aspirations to become leaders at the state level. National speakers, content matter experts and facilitation by IAR staff make this an engaging and highly-sought after program.
Who Should Attend?
This program is designed especially for President-Elects of local boards/associations in Iowa that will be serving as President in 2023, as well as potential Regional Vice Presidents and those wishing to run for an IAR Leadership position.
Due to the special nature of this program, there is limited space available. IAR will make every effort to host all sessions in person unless otherwise noted. Participants must attend all sessions. Without approval of absence prior to the start of IAR Leadership Institute, barring illness or emergency, participants that miss sessions will be dismissed from the program. IARLI will be capped at 18 participants. Each board or association will be guaranteed 1 participant. If a local board or association does not have an applicant, other local or state leaders will be considered.
Collaboration and open, honest dialogue is critical for the success of this program. The attendees will get to know each other very well during this program. Past attendees have told us the relationships built have been one of the most powerful components of the Leadership Institute.
A variety of topics will be covered during the program.
