John's first state meeting was in 1985 and began regularly attending meetings with the Iowa Association of REALTORS® (IAR) in the mid 1990s serving on every major committee along the way. John served as a Regional Vice President for several years and began teaching real estate education classes for IAR in 2004. John recently finished a 5 year term on the Iowa Real Estate Commission.
