Lyne Recognized as 2022 Iowa REALTOR of the Year

The Iowa Association of REALTORS is proud to announce Anthony Lyne as the 2022 REALTOR of the Year. The REALTOR of the Year award, recognizes a member whose contributions to the association, their clients, and community make a significant impact and lead to the betterment of the real estate profession.


With a decade of experience in real estate, Anthony Lyne has already made a tremendous impact in the industry and is a leader in the Des Moines community and beyond. Since 2020, Lyne has led the Iowa Association of REALTORS Diversity Committee as Chair. With thoughtful, pragmatic leadership, he inspires not only committee members, but the Association’s 8,200 members and 17 local boards across the state to engage in DEI efforts at the local level.


Lyne volunteers hundreds of hours of his time to ensure the implementation of diversity and inclusion within the association. This year alone, he has traveled more than 3,000 miles across the state of Iowa and met with over 300 brokers to present on DEI efforts and encourage buy-in. 


As one of the first statewide DEI REALTOR Association Committees in the entire country, Lyne sets Iowa apart on the national level and helped Iowa build a strong reputation for diversity, equity, and inclusion. The Association is now seeing states across the country emulate what is being done in Iowa, thanks to Lyne's guidance. 


Lyne exemplifies what true leadership is, serving members, clients, and his community with humility, honesty, and passion. His dedication to DEI has led to the betterment of the real estate industry and ensures diversity will be at the forefront for years to come.
