Ryan Ketelsen, assumed the role of  President at the Greater Mason City Board of REALTORS® in January. His leadership is focused on fostering community engagement and prioritizing the needs of both clients and colleagues.

Ryan's journey in real estate began six years ago, driven by a desire to immerse himself in the intricacies of the industry and gain a deeper understanding of its inner workings. As a member of Century 21 Preferred, Ryan has not only honed his skills as a REALTOR® but has also demonstrated a steadfast commitment to serving the Mason City community with honesty and integrity.

As Ryan steps into his role as President, his priorities for 2024 are clear: to foster a culture of volunteerism among board members and ensure that the interests of the membership remain at the forefront. By encouraging active participation and engagement, Ryan aims to strengthen the bond between the real estate community and the Mason City area, creating a more vibrant and interconnected environment for all.

Ryan's leadership isn't just about the present; it's about shaping the future of real estate in Mason City for years to come. Whether helping first-time buyers navigate the complexities of the market or assisting long-time residents in selling their properties, Ryan finds fulfillment in making a positive difference in the lives of those he serves.

Reflecting on his journey thus far, Ryan offers sage advice to his younger self and aspiring REALTORS® alike: don't sweat the small stuff. In a fast-paced and often challenging industry, it's easy to get bogged down by minor setbacks or frustrations. However, by maintaining focus and persevering through adversity, Ryan emphasizes the importance of staying grounded and committed to the grind.
