The East Central Iowa Association of REALTORS® (ECIAR) held a “Fill the Need” food drive August 24 - 25 to benefit the Dubuque Food Pantry. Dubuque area REALTORS® asked community members for donations at the 3 HyVee locations and Fareway Food stores in Dubuque. The community response was overwhelming. Through their generosity enough food was donated to fill the shelves of the food pantry with additional cash contributions totaling $582.39 and $110 in HyVee gift cards. “Our REALTOR® members live in the communities we serve and know the importance of giving back,” said ECIAR President Beth Gilbreath. “In addition to this project, REALTOR® members are involved in a host of other community and non-profits and organizations.”
ECIAR REALTOR® members will be out again in the Bellevue, Dyersville, Maquoketa and Peosta Food stores September 21-22 collecting food donations for their respective community food pantry.
