The Code of Ethics is enforced by the Iowa Association of REALTORS®, and local boards/associations may also receive enforcement and mediation assistance from the Iowa Association of REALTORS® in the form of a professional standards hearing and/or assistance from the Iowa Association of Realtors legal counsel. As stated in the Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice of the National Association of REALTORS®, REALTORS® should not knowingly or carelessly file false or unfounded ethics complaints.
